Committees
CUWFA provides several opportunities for Members to get involved and make an impact. The Standing Committees are: Conference Committee, Elections Committee, Information Management Committee, Membership Committee, NewsBriefs Committee, Revenue Enhancement Committee. In addition, there is currently one Ad Hoc Committees: National Outreach Ad Hoc Committee.

| Conference Committee |

The Conference Committee shall make arrangements for the Annual Meeting and Annual Conference, including the solicitation of papers and presentations, making physical arrangements for the meeting and conference, and maintaining liaison with other organizations with whom the Conference may be concurrently held. The President-elect shall serve as the liaison to the Executive Committee.

| Elections Committee |
|
The Elections Committee shall conduct elections of the Board in accordance with the provisions of the Bylaws. In addition, the Elections Committee shall work with the President-elect after the election to prepare a slate of officers for the Board's consideration. The Secretary shall serve as the liaison to the Executive Committee.

| Information Management Committee |

The Information Management Committee shall support and recognize the importance of the website resources and mail listserv as an integral part of the work of the Organization. The Committee will support the work of the Webmaster, work on the development and maintenance of member information and the Organizational Profile to facilitate networking, collaboration, mentoring, and gathering data on campus work/family programs. The Committee shall review the content of the website to ensure that comprehensive information available to the CUWFA membership includes research articles, publications, links to other organizations and relevant work/family sites, job postings, meeting minutes, archives, NewsBriefs, etc. The Vice President shall serve as the liaison to the Executive Committee.

| NewsBriefs Committee |
|
The NewsBriefs Committee shall publish an internal document that serves the membership. It shall provide an information exchange covering membership news, spotlight programs serving work/family needs in innovative ways, and report on research in work/family field, and provide professional support to CUWFA members. A designated committee member shall serve a liaison to the Board.

| Membership Committee/Coordinator |

The Membership Committee shall process new and renewing memberships, maintain the membership database, and invite new and renewing members to complete the organizational profile. The COmmittee, inconsultation with the Conference Committee, shall plan the New Member's Orientation presenation at the Annual Conference. A designated member shall serve a liaison to the Board.

| Revenue Enhancement Committee |

The Revenue Enhancement Committee is to explore and recommend to the Board of Directors various activities, strategies and opportunities for bringing revenue into the CUWFA organization in order to enhance the organization’s ability to meet its goals. These efforts may revolve around increasing membership, writing grants for special projects, sale of marketing materials or creation of special events to promote and support the professional development of CUWFA members, and contribute to the visibility and reputation of CUWFA.

| Ad Hoc Committees |
|
The Executive Committee may create additional standing and ad hoc committees, e.g. the By-Laws Committee; and others, as are appropriate to further the objectives of the Organization.
During a 2009 Board of Directors strategic planning retreat, two ad hoc committees were formed to facilitate the achievement of strategic goals.
