The Director of the Center for Staff Life Design at John Hopkins University will facilitate a discussion on the services they provide and the experiences learned.

BIO: Patrick Brugh, PhD, is the Director of the Center for Staff Life Design at Johns Hopkins University, where he leads innovative, human-centered programs that foster belonging, empowerment, and career mobility for 13,000 staff across all university divisions. With a background in design strategy, gender studies, and educational leadership, Patrick bridges research and practice to create inclusive, purpose-driven workplace environments. His work emphasizes co-creation, mentorship, and scalable interventions that support staff well-being at every life- and career stage. A former sociology and German faculty member and Deloitte UX & service design consultant, Patrick brings a scholar-practitioner lens to advancing caring organizational cultures in higher education.
