The Future of Work-Life: Leveraging Our Role in an Evolving Higher Education Landscape

Taking our cue from our New York 2020 program, this event looks toward the future of Work-Life amid our rapidly evolving higher education landscape. Noted author and executive coach Amy Jen Su will provide a keynote address on how COVID-19 has brought the “human experience” to the forefront of leadership and how work-life practitioners can continue to influence and engage leaders going forward. The program will also include discussions on mental health, the future of well-being across higher education, and opportunities for networking. For almost two decades, Amy Jen Su has been an executive coach working with CEOs, executives, and rising stars in organizations. She is the author of the Harvard Business Review Press book, The Leader You Want to Be: Five Essential Principles for Bringing Out Your Best Self – Every Day which draws on her extensive experience serving  industries such as biotechnology, private equity, financial services, software, consumer, and media. She understands the excitement and challenges of fast-paced businesses and professionals out to make a difference in the world.  
 
Amy is also co-author of the Washington Post bestseller Own the Room: Discover Your Signature Voice to Master Your Leadership Presence (Harvard Business Review Press 2013) written with Muriel Maignan Wilkins and is a frequent contributor on HBR.org. She has also been interviewed and featured by media outlets including Forbes, Inc., Marketwatch, Fast Company, and the Wall Street Journal. Clients cite Amy’s business judgment, commercial instincts, and enterprise-wide perspective combined with her knowledge and respect for the process of human growth and actualization as key differentiators. Prior to co-founding and helping to lead a team of twenty coaches at Paravis Partners, Amy’s previous business experience includes serving as a management consultant for Booz Allen & Hamilton where she advised senior executives of consumer products companies on marketing and growth strategies. She was also a strategic planner for the Taco Bell Corp instrumental in helping to launch Taco Bell into non-traditional points of distribution. Amy holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and BA in Psychology from Stanford University, graduating from both with honors and distinctions. Her additional certifications in Integral coaching, yoga and meditation, and her passion for the Eastern philosophies provide for a unique high impact, whole-person approach to executive development.
